Steven M. Clark, MD
Laparoscopic Bariatric Surgeon
Steven M. Clark, MD is a Laparoscopic Bariatric Surgeon and Partner at Premier Bariatric. An experienced bariatric surgeon in Indianapolis, Dr. Steven M. Clark is a firm believer in implementing the latest technology for weight loss surgery. Dr. Clark received extensive laparoscopic bariatric surgery training at Ohio State University's prestigious Center for Minimally Invasive Surgery. He completed Lap-band training with Dr. Jeff Allen, a world-renowned lap-band surgeon at the University of Louisville.
Dr. Steven M. Clark earned his Medical Doctorate at the University of Michigan, which he attended through a National Medical Fellowship. He completed his Surgical Residency at the University of Cincinnati, Department of Surgery. Before starting his medical career, Dr. Clark earned a degree in chemistry from Harvard University and worked as a computer systems engineer at IBM.
Dr. Steven M. Clark is a Veteran of the United States Navy. During his four years serving as general surgeon Navy and Marine Hospitals in San Diego, he made three deployments with the Pacific Fleet, two of which took him to Somalia. He received several military service awards including the Navy Achievement Medal, Southwest Asia Service Bronze Star, Armed Forces Expeditionary Bronze Star, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon Bronze Star, and National Defense Service Medal.
Dr. Steven M. Clark is distinguished as a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is a member of the Society for Surgery of the Alimentary Tract, American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery, Society for Laparoendoscopic Surgery, American Medical Association, and Indiana State Medical Association. Dr. Clark's research is published in peer-reviewed journals.
Outside of Premier Bariatric, Dr. Steven M. Clark is a jazz and classical music, golf, and travel enthusiast. He enjoys spending time with his wife and four children.

Julie Heimann, PA-C
Julie Heimann, PA-C is a Certified Physician Assistant at Premier Bariatric. Julie earned a Master of Science, Physician Assistant Program at the University of Saint Francis in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She completed a Specialty Clinical Rotation Tract in Surgery, including Bariatric Surgery. Julie received a Bachelor of Science in Biology Degree from Indiana University, Indiana.
Julie is a member and Former Vice President and Secretary of the Indiana Academy of Physician Assistants. She is a member of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery.

Amy Farnworth
Amy Farnworth has been with Premier Bariatric for over seven year as Bariatric Coordinator. In this role, she is responsible for coordinating new patient consultations, surgeries and patient questions with Community South Hospital and St. Francis Hospital. Amy is also responsible for maintaining surgical data for Premier Bariatric. Amy is currently attending Ivy Tech Community College earning her Associates in Nursing. After graduation, she plans to transfer to Indianapolis University Purdue University to earn her Bachelors Degree. Amy is a member of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery.
